FAMILY HISTORY ONLINE
http://genealogy.about.com/od/publishing/tp/web_sites.htm?nl=1
The Internet is a great way to connect with family, and the perfect medium for
collaborating on your shared family history. Putting your family tree on the
Web allows other relatives to view your information and add their own. It is
also a great way to exchange family photos, recipes and stories.
These sites include the tools you need to put your family tree online, along
with photos and pedigree charts. Some offer additional features such as chat,
message boards and password protection.

NZ BAY OF PLENTY BMDs
Jeni Palmer has recently completed indexing
the births, deaths and marriages in the Bay of Plenty Times
from 1872 and the data is now available on a CD or in hard copy (222 pages).
This includes the notices as well as news
articles. The full text of all the birth notices and most of the marriages is
included. For deaths if the notice/article is more than one paragraph some of
the text may have been omitted. It is available from me for $20 for a CD or $45
for hard copy (including NZ wide postage).
