To celebrate the forthcoming nuptials of Kate and Wills and to offer an Easter treat, Ancestry.co.uk is making all of the site's England and Wales Marriage Indexes as well as its Canadian marriage records available free of charge until 30th April. The free access includes both the fully-searchable transcriptions and the scanned images of the record indexes.
The Canadian marriage collections span over 300 years and contain 20 million records.
